The Origins of Foreshore Construction
The origins of Foreshore Construction date back to the late 1950’s when, as a child, our founder (Neville) helped his family build a small rock jetty in Tennyson Inlet, Pelorus Sound, Marlborough. (It is still in use).
Fast forward to the year 2000.
Struggling to find a quality contractor to build his family a new jetty in Four Fathom Bay, Neville put his skills to work and took on the project himself.
The Result
Before long, one of his neighbours asked if he could also build a jetty for them. Then another neighbour. And another…
Word spread quickly, and Foreshore Construction was officially born. Since then, Foreshore Construction has earned an excellent reputation, not only for being the most prolific and experienced jetty-building team in Marlborough but also the best quality.
That is not all that impressed us about the business. The more time we spent getting to know the team the more comfortable we felt. They have proved themselves to be genuine, caring, reliable, trustworthy, and thoroughly dependable.
That’s why Kirsty and I felt that both the construction of quality jetties and, most importantly, the values and culture within the team, are a perfect fit.
For us, Foreshore Construction is a story of a new adventure in the one of most outstanding regions of New Zealand.
